Seeking innovators to solve public sector challenges – CivTech Round 10 open

The latest round of the Scottish Government CivTech programme is open for applications, inviting companies and individuals to find innovative solutions to improve lives and solve public sector challenges. 

What is CivTech?

CivTech is the world’s first Government-run accelerator for digital public services. It is a Scottish Government programme that brings the public, private and third sectors together to build things that make people’s lives better.

CivTech explores challenges faced by government departments, public sector organisations and charities, and invites anyone with a brilliant idea to work hand-in-hand with CivTech to create the solution.

What are the challenges?

Applications are welcomed across nine different challenges. 

There are two challenges focused around healthcare topics:

Other challenges include streamlining data sharing across public organisations, optimising emergency response (looking first at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service), and improving public consultation processes.

Proposals must be submitted via Public Contracts Scotland by midday on 10 September.
